So now we have it from the horses mouth...Eurobarometer surveys established that"the Maltese are the shortest, laziest EU citizens" (Times Of MaltaTue, Nov 14, 2006 ).
I hope that this will not serve for our EU neighbours up north to label us as a joke....for certainty is the fact that when a maltese emigrates to another country, he/she is usually the brighest and yes SMART(sic!)est of the bunch. It is common knowledge that as witty as the Maltese are, if we were to be a big nation, we would be the world's no.1 superpower!! Indeed recent archeoligical theories put us "as the cradle of civilisation".
We might lack muscles in the physical department, but we more than compensate with the complexity and record number of neurons and synaptic connections in the brain department!!
